Our Orphan Village

Darus Sunnah Institute and Orphanage

Introduction: The orphan village is dedicated to provide orphan children in need access to mainly education and accommodation as well as other basic needs. The facilities will ensure they get all the support for a brighter future.

Providing more than just shelter, the Orphan Village is our Leaving a Legacy project. We have obtained the required land and construction work is planned to start later in 2023. Once the work is part completed, it will be the home for many orphans from across the country who are homeless and shelter less.    

Key Facilities:

• Orphanage - A safe home to orphans who lost one or both of their parents
• Masjid
• Education Centre (madarasa, hifz school and other essential subjects)
• Tree Plantation
• Essential clothing and healthcare checks
• Recreation and sport activities
• Daily nutritious meals

Hadith: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." (Muslim)
